What is Bodkin Style?
The targets are in hunting conditions, so maybe hard hit from standing or to see however, you will be able to see the kill zone of the animal.
Normally score should be minus for wounds, but this is just a bit of fun here.
Main rule is one of your feet is touching the peg and there are two rounds.
There will 1 arrow and a 2 arrow round with a total of 40 targets. (20 Targets per round)
There are no compounds for this shoot please due to the short ranges.
Please check your class before bookingClass 1 – wooden arrows shot off the hand.
Class 2 – wooden arrows shot off a shelf or arrow rest.
Class 3 – non-wooden arrows shot off the hand or shelf/rest.
Scoring will be the following;
1 Arrow Round (Red pegs)
- 20 Kill
- 5 Wounded
- 0 Miss
2 Arrow Round (Yellow pegs)
- 10 Kill
- 2 Wounded
- 0 Miss
If you are new to field, please let us know or if there isanything else we should be aware of.
Please note I have just been inspired by the Bodnik shoots I have been to and this is still Henry Bodnik’s idea. Not mine. (Can still complaint to me about target placement)
